Your rights and subject access requests
You have the right to request that Lichfield District Council restrict the processing of your personal data in relation to any council service. However, this may cause delays or prevent us delivering a service to you. Where possible we will seek to comply with your request where the legal grounds to do so are made out.
We try to ensure that any information we hold about you is correct. There may be situations where you find the information we hold is no longer accurate and you have the right to have this corrected. Please contact the council service/team holding your information.
You are legally entitled to request access to any information about you that we hold, and a copy.
Individuals have rights when it comes to how we handle their personal data. For more info, see the page on rights.
Make a subject access request
Where we process your personal data with your consent, you have the right to withdraw consent.
You may also object to any processing that we undertake as regards a task in the public interest or in the exercise of our official authority.
Finally, you have a right to ask us to erase any personal data that we hold upon you.
Please note that, in certain circumstances, the council can decline your request either completely or in part.
