Deposit bond

The deposit bond will be held by the council for 28 days following the event, and shall be subject to forfeit to the council in circumstances set out below:

Breach of clause’s 6.4, 6.5 (refusal of booking and cancellation), 8.6, 8.29 (Use of venue), 13.3 (Flyposting), 20.0 (Property not removed).
The deposit bond is forfeited if the council is required to make good any damages, as detailed in clauses 8.0 and 14.0.
Where the deposit bond is subject to forfeiture the council reserves the right to forfeit all or part of the deposit bond. The council will recover costs to the value of those incurred in rectifying issues.
