Section 1 - Aims & objectives of event plan

In this section, set out an outline of the main aims and objectives of your event plan. It should:

  • facilitate the running of a safe, enjoyable and successful event.
  • consider and plan for problems that may happen.
  • define trigger points at which other plans may need to be implemented.

It should also bring together the plans of all the organisations and agencies involved in the event to provide an effective way of demonstrating legal compliance and illustrate due diligence.
